So I spoke with my trainer yesterday about seeing more results, and while I'm already pretty fit and eat relatively well, I need to change my diet much further in order to get what I want. I vocalized that I want to slim down on my lower half, but am pretty contented with my upper half. I'm one of those girls that has a slight thickness in the legs and hips, which don't get me wrong I like having a booty and all, but I have an idea of a fitness I can achieve...and that I want. My stems are actually looking pretty awesome, strong and slimmed down, but to lose the extra pudge in between my thighs, I have to cut out most breads in my diet and stick to fruits, vegetables and proteins.
Today I did pretty well! I snacked on mixed fruit in the morning then ordered a smoked trout salad with beets, apples and strawberries later. I took some mixed greens with chicken on my way out so I wouldn't be starving in between trips to the grocery store today. Overall I'm feeling pretty good about starting this "diet." I've actually never been on a diet before, but talking it over with my trainer made me realize what I need to do to make more drastic physical changes. We'll see what happens in two weeks :)
